Government agents continue to search for a boy, Ben Archer, and his alien friend, Mesmo.

In spite of the constant fear of being caught, the undercover life they create for themselves along the Rocky Mountains could almost be called pleasant. Ben loves his new school and makes friends with a girl called Kimi.
